These Terms of Service are the agreement between you and Bayzo. They explain what Bayzo does, what it deliberately does not do, what you may and may not publish, and who is responsible when something goes wrong. By creating an account, publishing a listing, or contacting a seller through Bayzo, you accept these terms.
1. Who we are
Bayzo is operated by Avelqor ("Bayzo", "we", "us"), a software studio. Avelqor's company registration in Türkiye is in progress: as at the effective date of these terms the trade registry has not issued a registered trade name, a MERSIS number or a tax registration, and so we publish none of them — not here, and not on the Contact page, which says the same thing in the same words. We will publish them there, and update this section, on the day they are issued.
The status of that registration does not change who is responsible. Avelqor operates the platform, is the party you contract with under these terms, and answers for every obligation in them. Every mailbox named in this document is live now and is listed on the Contact page.
Bayzo is available on the web at bayzo.com.tr and as a mobile application distributed through app stores. These terms apply identically to both. Where a term says "the platform", it means all of them.
2. What Bayzo is — and what it is not
Bayzo is a lead-generation marketplace. Our job is to help a buyer find a seller and then get out of the way. Concretely:
- We host listings and professional profiles that other users write and publish.
- We make them findable through search, categories, cities and filters.
- We hand the conversation over to WhatsApp so the buyer and the seller can talk directly.
Everything after that handover happens between you and the other person, off our platform. Bayzo is never a party to your transaction. We do not:
- process payments, hold funds, or operate escrow;
- take custody of, inspect, store, ship or deliver any item;
- act as agent, broker, auctioneer, importer, exporter, or guarantor for any user;
- set prices, negotiate terms, or sign anything on your behalf;
- verify that an item exists, that it is as described, that the seller owns it, or that it is lawful to sell where you are.
If you buy something you found on Bayzo, your contract is with the seller and with no one else. Read the Disclaimer — it states the limits of what a listing on Bayzo means.
3. Eligibility
You must be 18 years old or over to create a Bayzo account, publish a listing, or contact a seller. Bayzo is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn that an account belongs to a minor we will close it and delete the associated data.
You must also be legally able to enter into a binding contract, and you must not be barred from using the platform by any applicable law or by a previous enforcement decision of ours.
Browsing public listings does not require an account. Publishing, saving, reporting and contacting do.
4. Your account
You register with a phone number and verify it through WhatsApp. You are responsible for everything done through your account, and for keeping access to the phone number and device that control it. Tell us at once, through the Contact page, if you believe someone else is using your account.
One person, one account. Creating additional accounts to evade a suspension, to inflate a listing's visibility, or to pose as more than one seller is a breach of these terms.
You may close your account at any time, from the app or from the web, without asking us. The route and its consequences are described in Deleting your account and data.
5. Verification, and what it does not mean
Bayzo verifies that a person controls the phone number attached to their account, by asking them to send a one-time code from their own WhatsApp. Some sellers additionally complete a business verification and display a trust badge.
Verification is a check on a phone number, not an endorsement. It does not mean we have inspected the goods, confirmed the seller's identity documents, audited their business, or formed any view about whether they are honest, solvent, or good at what they do. A verified badge tells you that the number you are about to message is the number that was verified. It tells you nothing else, and you should not treat it as a recommendation.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of the text, photographs and other material you publish on Bayzo ("your content"). By publishing it you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable licence to host, store, reproduce, resize, re-encode, cache, display and distribute your content, for the sole purposes of operating, promoting and improving the platform — including displaying your listing in search results, category pages, the mobile app, and in listings-of-listings we publish to search engines.
That licence lasts as long as your content is on Bayzo, plus a short technical window while backups and caches expire. It ends when you delete the content, except for copies we must keep under section 13.
You promise that, for everything you publish:
- you own it or have permission to publish it;
- it is accurate, and it describes a real item or service you are actually able to supply;
- it does not infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
- it does not break the Acceptable Use Policy or any law that applies to you.
You must accept these terms and the Acceptable Use Policy before you can publish anything. They define the content and behaviour we treat as objectionable, and they are the standard we moderate against.
7. Photographs of other people's things
Do not upload a photograph you took from another website, another marketplace, a manufacturer's catalogue, or another seller's listing. Photograph the actual item you are selling. Listings using stolen photography are removed, and repeat offenders lose their accounts — this is the single most common signal of a fraudulent listing, and we treat it accordingly.
8. Contacting sellers
When you tap the contact button, Bayzo generates a WhatsApp link and hands you to WhatsApp. From that moment:
- the conversation is between you and the other user;
- it takes place on WhatsApp, under Meta's terms, not ours;
- we do not see, store, moderate or archive its contents;
- we cannot recover it, mediate it, or use it as evidence in a dispute.
We record that a contact happened — a timestamp and the listing involved — so that sellers can see their demand and so that we can detect abuse. We do not receive the message you send.
Seller phone numbers are never published in the page's HTML, in our public API responses, or in the code delivered to your browser. The WhatsApp link is generated on our server, for you, at the moment you ask for it.
9. Prohibited use
The Acceptable Use Policy is part of these terms and lists what may not be published or done on Bayzo. In addition, you must not:
- scrape, crawl, harvest or bulk-download listings, images, or seller data by any automated means, except as our
robots.txtpermits; - attempt to obtain a seller's phone number other than by using the contact button as intended;
- probe, scan, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform or its infrastructure;
- misrepresent your identity, your business, or your relationship to any brand;
- use the platform to send unsolicited commercial messages;
- interfere with the ranking, reporting or moderation systems.
10. Moderation and enforcement
We may remove content, restrict a listing's visibility, suspend an account, or permanently ban a user where we reasonably believe these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy have been broken, where we are required to act by law, or where content presents a risk to other users.
We aim to act proportionately: a first, minor, apparently accidental breach usually means the listing is removed and you are told why. Fraud, dangerous goods, and abuse of other users are grounds for immediate and permanent removal.
You can appeal. Every enforcement decision we tell you about includes the reason and a route to contest it. Appeals are read by a person, not by the system that made the original decision. Write to the address given in the notice, or use the Contact page if you no longer have it.
11. Reporting content
Every listing and every professional profile carries a report control. Use it — it is the fastest route, because a report arrives attached to the thing it is about. Reports of illegal content, dangerous items, scams and threats can also be sent directly to the safety mailbox published on the Contact page, and are triaged the same day.
If you are a rights-holder reporting an infringement, follow the Intellectual Property Policy, which sets out what a valid notice must contain.
12. Paid placements and advertising
Some positions on Bayzo are paid. Where a listing or a banner occupies a paid position it is labelled as such, on the surface where it appears. Paying for a placement never changes how a listing is moderated, and it does not exempt a seller from the Acceptable Use Policy.
Advertising is booked through a support ticket or through the partnerships mailbox, and is governed by the terms attached to the booking as well as by these terms.
13. Suspension, termination and what survives
You may stop using Bayzo at any time and delete your account. We may suspend or terminate your access under section 10, or if we discontinue the service.
When an account is deleted, the listings published from it are withdrawn. We retain a limited set of records after deletion where we are legally required to, or where they are necessary to prevent fraud and abuse — for example, transaction-free logs of enforcement decisions and the hash of a banned phone number. What is retained, and for how long, is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Sections 2, 6 (the licence, for as long as content remains), 11, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 survive the end of this agreement.
14. Disclaimers
The platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, that listings will be accurate, that sellers will respond, or that any transaction will complete. See the Disclaimer for the full statement.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Bayzo is not liable for:
- any loss arising from a transaction between you and another user, including goods that are not delivered, not as described, defective, counterfeit, or unlawful;
- anything said or done in a WhatsApp conversation;
- the content of any listing, profile, or message written by another user;
- indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill or opportunity, however caused.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us for paid services in that period and (b) TRY 1,000.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability owed to a consumer under mandatory provisions of Turkish consumer law.
16. Indemnity
If someone brings a claim against us because of something you published, something you did on the platform, or a transaction you entered into, you agree to indemnify us against the reasonable costs and damages that result, except to the extent the claim arises from our own breach or negligence.
17. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. When we do, we update the effective date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects your rights — for example a change to the liability, dispute or licensing sections — we will give notice in the app or by a message to the number on your account at least 30 days before it takes effect, and continuing to use Bayzo after that date means you accept the new version. If you do not accept it, delete your account before the date.
We keep the previous effective date visible on this page until the new version takes effect, so you can always tell which version you agreed to.
18. Governing law, disputes, and language
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
The İstanbul (Çağlayan) Courts and Enforcement Offices have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms.
If you are a consumer, this section does not take away your rights. Under Turkish Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection you may bring a claim before the consumer arbitration committee (tüketici hakem heyeti) or the consumer court for your own place of residence, and where the mandatory law of your country of residence gives you a more favourable forum or protection, that law applies to you instead.
Before going to court, please write to us. Most disputes are resolved faster in an email thread than in a filing.
Language. These terms are published in Arabic and English. The Arabic version is the one most of our users read and is the authoritative text for users in Syria; the English version is provided for convenience. Where the two conflict on a point of substance, the Arabic version prevails, except where Turkish law requires otherwise for a Turkish-law question.
19. Contact
Questions about these terms go to the legal mailbox on the Contact page. General help is at the Support centre.
